Lebanon: At Least 51 killed and Over 220 Injured in Recent Strikes (Updated Toll)

The Lebanese Minister of Health, Firass Abiad, reported that 51 individuals have been killed and more than 220 injured due to intense strikes by Zionist forces on Lebanon on Wednesday.

“Since this morning, 51 people have become martyrs, and 223 have sustained injuries from various attacks on Lebanon,” the minister stated during a press conference.

A previous report from his ministry had indicated 23 deaths.

In the past week, Zionist assaults on Lebanon have resulted in over 558 martyrs, including more than 50 children and 95 women, along with 1,835 injuries, according to the official tally released by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

These strikes coincide with ongoing genocidal attacks by Zionist forces against the Gaza Strip, which have persisted for nearly a year. This has led to 41,467 martyrs and 95,921 injuries, predominantly affecting children and women, as well as over 10,000 missing persons amid widespread destruction of infrastructure and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
