BEIRUT – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that 14 rescuers were martyred in Zionist raids in Lebanon over the past two days, condemning these actions “in the strongest terms.”
In a statement, the ministry specified that the Zionist entity had “intensified attacks on rescuers and health centres,” denouncing “the repeated assaults of the Zionist enemy.” The ministry had previously reported that the ongoing aggression resulted in the martyrdom of 33 individuals and left 195 wounded on Saturday alone.
Since Monday, the Zionist entity has continued to bombard different regions of Lebanon, leading to over 700 martyrs and nearly 2,200 injuries, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. Minister Firas Al-Abyad also noted that 1,640 citizens, including 104 children and 194 women, have been martyred since October.
