Lebanese Parliament Renews Confidence in Nawaf Salam’s Government

BEIRUT – The Lebanese Parliament, meeting in a plenary session, renewed its confidence in the government led by Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Wednesday, according to the National News Agency (ANI).
A total of 69 lawmakers voted in favor of the government, nine voted against, and four abstained.
The confidence vote followed the opening of a parliamentary session on Wednesday, which is still ongoing, dedicated to discussing the government’s public policy agenda.
