Khamenei promises “crushing response” to U.S. and Zionist entity over actions against Iran
TEHRAN – Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said on Saturday that the United States and the Zionist entity will “undoubtedly receive a crushing response” for what they do against his country, state media reported.
“Enemies, including America and the Zionist regime, should know that they will undoubtedly receive a crushing response for what they do against Iran and the resistance front,” Khamenei said.
He made the comments to students on the eve of National Student Day, which marks the anniversary of the takeover of the former US Embassy in Iran in 1979.
Iran underscored its right “to defend itself against external aggressive acts” following the Zionist entity’s airstrikes on October 26 that targeted military centres in Tehran, the western province of Ilam, and the south-western province of Khuzestan.
