Iranians Rally in Tehran to Back Leadership Amid Escalating Tensions and U.S. Threats

TEHRAN – Thousands of Iranians gathered Tuesday night in Tehran’s Palestine Square to express support for the country’s leadership and military response to recent Zionist attacks. The demonstration, held near the residence of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, saw participants waving Iranian flags, holding posters of Khamenei, and chanting slogans against the Zionist entity and the United States.
Despite warnings from U.S. President Donald Trump, who earlier threatened to “evacuate Tehran,” families with children joined the rally, signaling popular defiance. Police and armed forces were present to secure the event, which underscored strong public backing for Iran’s retaliatory strikes against the Zionist entity.
Tensions in the region have soared since Friday, when the Zionist entity launched airstrikes on Iranian military and nuclear sites. Tehran reports at least 224 Iranians killed and over 1,000 wounded in the Zionist aggression.
