Iran asserts right to self-defence after Zionist airstrikes on military targets

TEHRAN – Iran is “entitled and obligated to defend itself against external aggressive acts,” its foreign ministry said on Saturday after Zionist airstrikes on some Iranian military targets.
In parallel, the Iranian Army said in a statement that two soldiers have been martyred during the Zionist offensive, according to Tasnim News Agency.
Earlier, the Iranian air defence force indicated that the attacks targeted positions in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam, specifying that the air defence system managed to intercept the aggression.
The same source added that limited damage was inflicted in some areas, the extent of which is being investigated.
