Hamas Holds Zionist Entity Fully Responsible for Gaza Escalation, Reaffirms Commitment to Ceasefire

The Palestinian group of resistance Hamas on Wednesday held the Zionist entity entirely responsible for the latest escalation in the Gaza Strip, after a series of Zionist airstrikes killed more than 100 people despite an existing ceasefire agreement.
In a statement, Hamas said it “will not allow the occupation to impose a new reality in Gaza under fire,” emphasizing that Israel bears “full responsibility for this dangerous escalation and its political and field consequences, as well as for attempting to sabotage President Donald Trump’s plan and the ceasefire agreement.”
The group reaffirmed its full commitment to the ceasefire and urged mediators and guarantors to pressure the Zionist entity to immediately halt its “massacres” against Palestinians. According to local reports, the latest strikes—the Zionist entity’s deadliest since the ceasefire took effect on October 10 under Trump’s 20-point plan —left 104 people dead, including 46 children and 40 women, and wounded 253 others, among them 78 children and 84 women, who were taken to hospitals across the Gaza Strip.
