Gaza Has Been Deprived of Humanitarian Aid for Two Months (UN)

The United Nations has reported that the occupying authorities continue to obstruct the distribution of humanitarian assistance to Gaza, noting that no aid has entered the Palestinian enclave for nearly two months.
During a press conference in New York, UN Deputy Spokesperson Stéphanie Tremblay emphasized the urgent need for continuous support, stating, “Humanitarian aid has not reached Gaza for nearly two months.”
She pointed out that humanitarian workers are facing significant challenges in fulfilling their responsibilities, as the occupying authorities have only permitted two out of six planned humanitarian operations to proceed on Tuesday.
According to the United Nations, the restrictions imposed by the occupation on humanitarian access hinder the delivery of vital medical supplies to hospitals, thereby jeopardizing the health of an increasing number of patients.
Since March 2, the Zionist occupation has blocked the entry of essential supplies, including food and water, into the Gaza Strip due to the closure of crossing points. This has resulted in a humanitarian catastrophe and exacerbated famine conditions.
