El-Djeich magazine: The army has been and will remain the protector of the homeland’s pride

ALGIERS – El-Djeich magazine emphasised in its latest editorial that the People’s National Army continues with determination and firmness to be in step with the renaissance project undertaken by Algeria, proving that it is the impregnable bastion of the nation, which has been and will always remain the protector of the homeland’s pride, and the defender of its borders and sovereignty, ensuring the preservation of its security and stability.

The editorial titled “On the Path of Loyalty” highlighted that commemorating the sixty-third anniversary of national independence day serves both as an opportunity to recall the exploits of the heroes of Algeria who made the ultimate sacrifices for the glory of the homeland and as an occasion to renew the oath of loyalty to them, which involves preserving their legacy, the ideal for which they fought, by following the path they laid out and by drawing sustenance from the high values that animated them.

“Values of self-sacrifice, loyalty, and devotion to the homeland, of defending its supreme interests in all circumstances, and of ensuring that our country continues on the path of development, renaissance, and prosperity, in security, stability, and tranquillity,” the editorial said, adding that, “by doing so, we will realise their aspirations as well as the hopes and aspirations of the Algerian people today.”

The magazine’s editorial underscored that these are the aspirations of the victorious new Algeria, advancing with sure and confident steps towards a radiant future, and an Algeria which, in recent years, has been achieving unprecedented gains and realisations in economic, social, political, diplomatic, and developmental fields.

“A confident and determined Algeria that has regained its prestige and the place it deserves in the concert of nations, thanks to its loyal men, its strong institutions, its proud people, and its ambitious youth, who are the object of the greatest interest from the country’s highest authorities.”
