Algeria’s PM Attends Africa High-Level Forum on South-South and Triangular Cooperation in Sierra Leone

On behalf of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who currently chairs the Forum of Heads of State and Government of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui arrived in Freetown, Sierra Leone, on Tuesday to participate in the 3rd African High-Level Forum on South-South and Triangular Cooperation for Sustainable Development. The forum is scheduled to take place from May 7 to 9, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office.
“The Prime Minister, Mr. Nadir Larbaoui, representing President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the current chair of the Forum of Heads of State and Government of the APRM, arrived on May 6 in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone, to engage in the proceedings of the 3rd African High-Level Forum on South-South and Triangular Cooperation for Sustainable Development, organized by this African mechanism from May 7 to 9, 2025,” the statement reads.
This continental forum will explore “ways to mobilize resources and coordinate efforts to promote South-South and triangular partnerships aimed at sustainable development across the African continent,” the source added.
Additionally, it will address “the impacts of transformations within the international financial system and examine how universities, African communities, and the private sector can contribute to global and participatory governance at the continental level,” the statement concludes.
