Algeria’s Intra-African Trade Fair Enters Third Day

ALGIERS – The fourth edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair continues on Saturday, in Algiers, marking its third day of activities.

Today’s program features the continuation of the Africa Trade and Investment Forum, with several panel discussions covering topics such as small and medium-sized enterprises, the role of women in trade, and the use of local currencies in intra-African commerce.

Simultaneously, the trade fair activities continue alongside the African automobile exhibition and bilateral business meetings, as well as the African hub for research and innovation, the African Union’s startup program, and the events of the African creativity forum, “CANEX.”

Algeria is hosting the fourth edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025) under the theme “Gateway to New Opportunities,” from September 4 to 10. The event features delegations from 140 countries and over 2,000 companies from Africa and beyond, including around 200 Algerian enterprises. Moreover, it is expected to attract approximately 35,000 professional visitors and result in trade and investment agreements exceeding $44 billion in value.
