Algerian Start-up ‘Nrecycli’ Wins Youth Social Entrepreneurs Award in Qatar

The Algerian start-up “Nrecycli” has received the “Youth Social Entrepreneurs Award” in Doha, Qatar, in recognition of its innovative project focused on plastic waste management in Algeria, according to a company press release.
This honor is presented by the Arab foundation “Mentor Arabia,” which supports initiatives led by children and youth across the Arab world, particularly in the social, environmental, and educational sectors.
In this fourth edition of the awards, the Algerian start-up showcased “an ambitious project aimed at reducing plastic waste in Algeria and promoting a more sustainable future.” The statement highlighted that “Nrecycli has been conducting a PET (recycled plastic) collection initiative in Algiers and Blida since 2019, in collaboration with local stakeholders.”
Nrecycli is a Green-Tech start-up that develops digital solutions in the circular economy, striving to enhance recycling rates by linking stakeholders within a sustainable ecosystem grounded in circular economy principles.
