Algerian President Inaugurates ” Cap Djinet-2″ Seawater Desalination Plant in Boumerdes

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune arrived in Boumerdes on Tuesday to inaugurate the Cap Djinet-2 seawater desalination plant, which has a production capacity of 300,000 cubic meters per day.

The opening of this facility is part of Algeria’s broader strategy to enhance its water supply infrastructure. Just days earlier, President Tebboune inaugurated three major desalination plants: Ras El Oued in Ain El Karma, Oran; Fouka-2 in Tipaza; and Koudiet Eddraouch in El Tarf.
