Algerian President Honors Sheikh Mohamed Salah Seddik with National Order of Merit

The Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, awarded the National Order of Merit medal at the rank of “Ahid” to the moudjahid, writer and scholar, Sheikh Mohamed Salah Seddik, in recognition of his scholarly and religious career and his outstanding contributions to promoting the values of moderation, balance and tolerance.

The medal-awarding ceremony was overseen on Thursday at the Moufdi Zakaria Palace of Culture (Algiers) by the Minister of Culture and Arts, Malika Bendouda, and the Adviser to the President of the Republic in charge of education, higher education, vocational training and culture, Nasreddine Bentifour, in the presence of several ministers, the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense, and a number of national and cultural figures.
