Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks on Sunday with the Director General of the International Organization for Migration, Amy Pope, as part of his participation in the high-level segment of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to a statement by the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on reviewing the various aspects of institutional cooperation between Algeria and the International Organization for Migration, and exploring ways to strengthen it to effectively address the challenges related to migration. This was part of the preparations for the upcoming visit of Amy Pope to Algeria.
