ALGIERS — Detachments of the Algerian army eliminated two foreign terrorists who illegally crossed Algerian borders, the Algerian Ministry of Defence announced on Saturday.
“As part of counterterrorism and border security efforts, Army detachments in the operational area of In Guezzam (6th Military Region) killed two terrorists of foreign nationality who illegally crossed national borders on Friday, 21 March 2025. They recovered one (1) sniper rifle, three (3) ammunition magazines, a large quantity of ammunition, one (1) Thuraya satellite phone, one (1) all-terrain vehicle, and other items,” the statement said.
“This operation, which adds to the results achieved on the ground, confirms the vigilance and firm determination of the PNA forces to protect national borders against any intrusion attempts,” the source added.
