The Timimoun authorities, through a preparatory commission established by the HCA Secretary General Si El Hachemi Assad and chaired by Governor Souna Benamar, have taken all necessary organizational measures to ensure the success of the event, with the involvement of various sectors.

The celebrations will begin with the launch of an inaugural lesson at Aicha Oum El-Mouminine school for primary students, focusing on the significance of “Yennayer” and its connection to love and attachment to the land and homeland. The opening ceremony will feature a grand parade, with each sector represented, along with a procession of trucks showcasing traditional craftsmanship workshops such as tapestry, pottery, basketry, and leatherwork. There will also be a film screening in the Amazigh language.

A local handicraft exhibition symbolizing Amazigh identity and culture will be set up during the festivities, and Mohamed Zazza, Director of Culture and Arts of Timimoun, confirmed the participation of the sector with exhibits on the material and intangible heritage of the Red Oasis (Timimoun), including a mobile exhibition by the Algerian Center for Earthen Cultural Heritage showcasing Zénète patterns.
