President Abdelmadjid Tebboune is scheduled to take the oath of office on Tuesday at the Palace of the Nations, in accordance with Article 89 of the Algerian Constitution following his re-election for a second presidential term, announced the presidency in a statement.
The ceremony will be held in the presence of all the high institutions of the nation.
The Constitutional Court declared on Saturday that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has been re-elected for a second five-year term following his landslide victory in the presidential elections on September 7, 2024.
According to the final results, President Tebboune won with an absolute majority, receiving 84.30% of the votes.
