In Milan, Italy, voters from the Algerian national community have called for strong participation in the upcoming presidential election, underscoring the election’s significance for Algeria’s future. They view this election as a crucial opportunity for the diaspora, particularly the younger generation, to voice their opinions and influence Algeria’s political trajectory.

Representatives from the community at the Algerian Consulate General in Milan expressed the importance of the election, emphasizing that young people should actively participate. They highlighted that Algeria is making significant progress and improving in various areas, reinforcing the idea that their involvement is vital for the country’s development.

Rachid Yacef, a long-time Algerian resident in Italy, stressed that the presidential election represents a chance for the younger generation to contribute to Algeria’s democratic process. He noted that the consular authorities have facilitated the voting process by establishing new offices and organizing polling stations across Italy. With 12 polling stations set up, including both fixed and mobile ones, voters in Italy have convenient access to exercise their right to vote, with significant numbers of registered voters in Milan, Naples, and Rome.
