ADDIS ABABA – Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, participated on Tuesday in the opening ceremony of the 24th Extraordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union, the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
The agenda of this extraordinary session includes several items concerning the completion of elections for vacant seats and positions within the African Union’s organs, the source said.
On this occasion, the Algerian minister held bilateral meetings with several of his African counterparts, allowing for the exchange of views on key issues facing Africa, the statement added.
