The British government announced on Friday that Zionist officials will not be invited to participate in the DSEi arms fair in London, scheduled for early September. This decision follows the recent escalation of military actions by the Zionist entity in the Gaza Strip.
A spokesperson for the British Ministry of Defense described the decision to intensify military operations in Gaza as “wrong,” according to various media reports. As a result, the spokesperson confirmed, “we can confirm that no Israeli government delegation will be invited to attend DSEI UK 2025,” one of the largest global exhibitions of military technology.
Reflecting on the ongoing aggression against Gaza since October 7, 2023, the spokesperson stressed the urgent need for a diplomatic solution to bring an immediate end to the conflict, advocating for an immediate ceasefire and increased humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza.
Additionally, it is noteworthy that the United Kingdom, through Prime Minister Keir Starmer, announced at the end of July its intention to recognize the State of Palestine next September.
