Zionist Forces Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque, Expel Worshippers and Impose West Bank Lockdown

Zionist occupation forces forcibly removed Palestinian worshippers from Al-Aqsa Mosque after the dawn prayer on Friday, before locking all gates of the sacred compound, the Wafa news agency reported.

Local sources quoted by Wafa stated that occupation troops stormed the mosque immediately after morning prayers, evacuating all worshippers and sealing the entrances. This marks the first full evacuation and closure of the mosque since the COVID-19 pandemic.

The raid came as the Zionist army announced a “total blockade” across the occupied West Bank.

According to Wafa, occupation forces erected dirt barricades and closed dozens of roads and access points connecting towns and villages throughout the West Bank.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian health authorities reported that the ongoing Zionist genocide campaign in Gaza has left 55,207 people martyred and 127,821 others wounded since October 7, 2023.
