Zionist Entity Refuses to Allow Rescue of Trapped Palestinian Paramedics in Rafah

The Zionist entity continues to block efforts to rescue nine Palestinian paramedics trapped in Rafah, southern Gaza, the Red Crescent Society said on Tuesday. According to the organization, the medical team has been stranded for three days after being besieged and targeted by Zionist forces during a rescue mission for injured civilians. The Red Crescent expressed deep concern over their safety and held the Zionist entity fully responsible for their fate.

The paramedics came under attack on Sunday while attempting to assist wounded individuals. Despite urgent appeals, the Zionist entity has not facilitated their evacuation. The Zionist forces have intensified its aerial campaign on Gaza since March 18, killing at least 730 people and injuring nearly 1,200, despite a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement reached in January.

Since October 2023, the Zionist entity’s military assault on Gaza has killed over 50,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and left more than 113,000 injured. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former War Minister Yoav Gallant, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
