The Polish capital, Warsaw, recently hosted a series of awareness-raising activities on the Sahrawi cause, organized by the Polisario Front’s representation in Germany. The initiative aimed to shed light on the ongoing struggle of the Sahrawi people for self-determination and independence.
As part of the program, Najat Handi, the Polisario Front’s representative in Germany, delivered a lecture analyzing the Sahrawi issue within the current international context. She emphasized the legitimacy of the Sahrawi people’s demands and the challenges they face amid continued Moroccan occupation.
A documentary was also screened, highlighting the violence and human rights abuses endured by Sahrawi women in the occupied territories. The event drew a wide audience, including youth, students, and researchers, all seeking to deepen their understanding of the Sahrawi people’s ongoing fight for freedom.
