Ukrainian Forces Continue Strikes on Russian Energy Facilities – Ministry of Defense

Ukraine has intensified its attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, with new strikes reported in the Bryansk region and Crimea, according to Russia’s Ministry of Defense.

On Wednesday evening, a drone attack forced the shutdown of a power line in Bryansk, while another attempt was made to target the ground equipment of the Glebovskoye underground gas storage facility in Crimea. Additionally, artillery shelling on Thursday morning disabled a transformer substation belonging to the Bryanskenergo branch of Rosseti Center.

These attacks come amid Ukraine’s continued efforts to weaken Russia’s energy sector, which plays a key role in Moscow’s war effort. Russian authorities have yet to disclose the full extent of the damage or potential countermeasures in response to the strikes.
