Trump Declares All Biden Autopen-Signed Documents and Pardons “Null and Void”

US President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he is canceling all documents signed by former President Joe Biden using an autopen, including presidential pardons, executive orders, and other official directives.

In a statement posted on his Truth Social platform, Trump declared: “Any and all Documents, Proclamations, Executive Orders, Memorandums, or Contracts, signed by Order of the now infamous and unauthorized ‘AUTOPEN,’ within the Administration of Joseph R. Biden Jr., are hereby null, void, and of no further force or effect.”

Trump went further, warning that individuals who received presidential pardons or commutations bearing an autopen-generated signature should consider those documents invalid. “Anyone receiving ‘Pardons,’ ‘Commutations,’ or any other Legal Document so signed, please be advised that said Document has been fully and completely terminated, and is of no Legal effect,” he wrote.

The autopen — a device used to accurately replicate a person’s signature — has been employed by US presidents from both parties for decades, particularly for routine documents or during travel.
