Russia Issues Strong Warning to Zionist Entity Over Attacks on Iran’s Nuclear Sites

MOSCOW – Russia on Thursday strongly condemned ongoing Zionist military strikes on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, calling them illegal under international law and a dangerous provocation that risks triggering a nuclear disaster. The warning comes amid escalating tensions growing international fears of regional destabilization.
“We consider the Israeli side’s attacks on peaceful nuclear facilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran to be absolutely unacceptable,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said during a briefing at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. She described the attacks as “illegal” and a direct threat to international security, saying they “push the world towards a nuclear catastrophe.”
Zakharova also raised alarm over the safety of Russian technicians working at Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant, stating, “We are particularly worried about the security of Russian specialists.” Moscow urged the Zionist entity to stop its strikes on nuclear sites and warned the United States against any military involvement, calling such a move “an extremely dangerous step with truly unpredictable negative consequences.”
Labeling Zionist actions “unprovoked aggression,” Zakharova dismissed Zionist and American justifications based on nuclear non-proliferation concerns as “outright cynicism.”
The International Atomic Energy Agency and U.S. intelligence both maintain there is no verified evidence Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons, contradicting Israeli and President Trump’s claims.
