Larbaoui Welcomes Italian Minister of Culture

Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui met with Alessandro Giuli, the Italian Minister of Culture, on Wednesday at the Government Palace in Algiers. Giuli is visiting Algeria for official business, as noted in a communiqué from the Prime Minister’s office.
The meeting, which also included Minister of Culture and Arts Zouhir Ballalou, provided an opportunity to “commend the strong friendship and cooperation between Algeria and Italy, as well as the remarkable progress of their bilateral partnership across various sectors.” This acknowledgment follows significant discussions held between President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Italian leaders on multiple occasions, according to the statement.
Both parties also explored “various aspects of cultural cooperation, which presents numerous promising opportunities given the rich civilizational, historical, and cultural heritage shared by Algeria and Italy. They agreed to further enhance and promote this heritage to strengthen the partnership between the two countries and solidify their privileged and strategic relations,” the communiqué concluded.
