Italian Parliamentary delegation arrives in Algiers for official visit

A delegation from the Italy-Algeria Parliamentary Friendship Group, led by its president Andrea Mascaretti, arrived in Algiers on Saturday for an official visit, Algeria’s People’s National Assembly (lower house of Parliament) said in a statement.

Upon arrival at Houari Boumediene International Airport, the Italian delegation was welcomed by MP Kamel Ouissat, head of the Algeria-Italy Parliamentary Friendship Group, the statement said.

The delegation’s five-day official visit will feature talks and meetings with several Algerian officials, according to the statement.
