Algerian President Receives Congratulations from Iranian Counterpart on the Anniversary of the Liberation Revolution

ALGIERS – Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian congratulated on Saturday President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and the Algerian people on the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the revolutionary war, emphasizing that the anti-colonial spirit and the courage of the Algerian people and their leaders during decades of liberation struggle have always been a source of inspiration for freedom-loving countries and world leaders.

In his congratulatory message to the President, the Iranian President also expressed his hope for “further advancement in relations in a manner that aligns with the interests of both peoples and countries, in light of the historical ties and commonalities between the two nations,” the Algerian Presidency said in a statement.

Moreover, he wished the President good health, prosperity and development for brotherly and friendly Algeria, both its government and its people, the statement said.
