United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) welcomed Tuesday Algeria’s efforts for the achievement of regional integration and the creation of a single African market.
Nozipho Hlophe told APS that the UNDP’s Regional Service Centre for Africa (RSCA) welcomed the “success of the 4th Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025),” praising “Algeria’s role in regional integration and for the fulfilment of the dream of creating a single African market.”
She put forward the efforts of Algeria, alongside the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), the African Union Commission and the Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), to “develop economic relations among countries on the continent and strengthen trade partnerships for the benefit of all parties.”
According to her, the “strong participation” of economic operators from different countries on the continent in IATF in Algiers shows that they are fully aware of the importance of the “Made in Africa” label.
