Celtic fans continued their protests against Zionist attacks on Palestine and Lebanon during their UEFA Champions League knockout phase play-off first leg against Bayern Munich on Wednesday. Supporters at Celtic Park raised Palestinian flags as a show of solidarity, despite their team’s 2-1 loss to the German side.
The Green Brigade, a prominent Celtic fan group, led the demonstration by unveiling a banner that read “Show Israel The Red Card,” calling on UEFA and FIFA to take action against Zionist participation in international competitions. In addition, the group distributed flyers urging fans to display red sheets of paper in protest, demanding Zionist suspension over its military actions in Palestine.
The demonstration is the latest in a series of protests by Celtic supporters, who have been vocal in their condemnation of Zionist offensive in Gaza and Lebanon. UEFA has previously fined the club for similar actions, but the fans have remained steadfast in their activism.
