Boughali Receives President of Mauritania-Algeria Parliamentary Friendship Group

ALGIERS — The Speaker of the Algerian People’s National Assembly (lower house of Parliament), Brahim Boughali, received on Monday in Algiers the President of the Mauritania-Algeria parliamentary friendship group, Mustapha Souheib.

During this meeting, the depth of the longstanding relations between the two countries was underscored.

In this regard, Boughali affirmed that “both parties are driven by a strong political will to strengthen bilateral cooperation.”

He also noted Algeria’s ongoing support for just causes, particularly the Palestinian cause, reaffirming his unwavering commitment to this cause.

For his part, Souheib welcomed “the robust and special relations between the two countries,” expressing his country’s desire to “strengthen cooperation with Algeria in several areas, including agriculture and telecommunications.”
