ALGIERS — The Algerian Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, received on Sunday the ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Algiers, Ramdhane El Fayedh, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs said in a statement.
The meeting “provided an opportunity to review the brotherly relations and strong cooperation between the two countries, along with the remarkable progress in these relations at all levels under the high guidance of the two countries’ leaders,” the statement noted.
On this occasion, the two parties expressed “their commitment to continue joint efforts to boost cooperation mechanisms in the consular field and further improve the situation of the Algerian community residing in this brotherly country.”
