Algerian-Saudi preparations for high-level discussion on the Middle East at UNSC

ALGIERS – Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held a phone talk on Tuesday with the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The two ministers discussed the outcomes of the Riyadh meeting on Syria, held on January 12, 2024, as well as preparations for the upcoming high-level discussions on the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian issue, to be organised under Algeria’s presidency of the United Nations Security Council, the statement added.
