Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Pope Leo XIV in an official reception on Monday, at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic.
The President of the Republic and Pope Leo XIV posed for a commemorative photo in front of representatives of national and international media.
This comes as Pope Leo XIV has begun an official visit to Algeria.
