Algerian PM receives U.S. Ambassador to Algeria

ALGIERS – Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui met on Tuesday with U.S. Ambassador to Algeria, Elizabeth Moore Aubin, the Prime Minister’s office said in a statement.

The two sides discussed the progress of the bilateral relations between Algeria and the United States, as well as various areas of cooperation. Both parties emphasised the shared commitment of the two countries’ leaders to further strengthening the Algeria-U.S. partnership, expanding and diversifying it to serve the mutual interests of both countries and their peoples.

During the meeting, the Algerian Prime Minister and the U.S. Ambassador reviewed current regional and international issues of mutual concern. Additionally, they stressed the importance of intensifying bilateral consultations to address common challenges and promote the agenda of peace, stability, and development, particularly within the framework of the United Nations Security Council.
