Algeria to Showcase Food Industry at WorldFood Moscow 2025

Algeria participates, under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, in the International Food and Drink Exhibition (WorldFood Moscow) scheduled from September 16 to 19 in the Russian capital, with 15 economic companies, the ministry said Monday in a statement.

Algeria’s participation in the WorldFood Moscow 2025 “comes within the framework of an official programme of economic events abroad for 2025. Algeria will be presented by 15 economic compagnies specialised in food industry that will showcase the quality and diversity of national products.”

This economic event will be an opportunity to review a wide range of Algerian products as part of the national economic diversification strategy, the statement added.

At the WorldFood Moscow, Algeria intends to “shed light on its capabilities in the food industry and to highlight the diversity and quality of domestic products, in addition to opening up new export opportunities to the Russian market and Eastern European markets, which have more than 240 million consumers.”

The event is an opportunity to “strengthen economic cooperation with Russian economic operators through B2B working meetings and review the latest technological developments in the food sector.”
