Algeria: FM Attaf holds talks with Palestinian PM, reiterates full support for Palestine

RIYADH – Ahead of the joint Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Attaf held a bilateral meeting on Monday with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Palestine, Mohammad Mustafa.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the developments in the occupied Palestinian territories amid the ongoing Zionist genocidal aggression on Gaza, along with the broader escalation on multiple fronts across the region.

FM Ahmed Attaf reaffirmed Algeria’s full solidarity and unwavering support for the Palestinian people during these challenging times.

The Algerian foreign minister emphasised his country’s commitment to continuing its efforts to advocate for the Palestinian cause at the UN Security Council and to advance all initiatives aimed at alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people while working toward the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
