Algeria, China Sign Partnership for Metal Moulds and Galvanizing Production

ALGIERS- Algerian tubes and flat products processing company Anabib, a subsidiary of the holding company SNS, and the Chinese firm Dauphine d’Or signed Sunday a partnership agreement for the manufacture of metal moulds and supports, and hot-dip galvanizing, the ministry of Industry said in a statement.

Chaired by the minister of Industry, Sifi Ghrieb, the signing ceremony took place at the ministry’s headquarters, in the presence of the CEO of the Holding SNS and the executives of the ministry, the statement said.

The agreement provides for the creation of a Common Interest Group (CIG) to pool resources of both sides, improve production and strengthen competitiveness in the market.

The initiative is in line with the ministry’s strategy to enhance national production capacity and set up strategic industries in the country.
