Algerian Prime Minister, Sifi Ghrieb, was received on Tuesday by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi, at the Al-Ittihadiya Palace.

PM Ghrieb conveyed to President Al-Sissi the fraternal greetings of Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, “along with his deep appreciation for him, as well as his firm commitment to working together to strengthen the brotherly ties between the two countries and deepen bilateral partnership in various fields,” the Prime Minister’s office said in a statement.

He also conveyed Egypt’s deep appreciation and respect for Algeria—from its leadership and government to its people.

President Al-Sissi added that Algeria and Egypt, as two key pillars for preserving stability in the Arab world and North Africa, will continue working to strengthen coordination and consultation on various issues of common interest, enabling them to shoulder the responsibilities entrusted to them in this regard, the statement said.
