Tunisian President Kaïs Saïed dismissed Prime Minister Kamel Madouri on Thursday night, according to a statement from the presidency released on Friday morning.
Former Minister of Equipment and Housing, Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri, has been appointed by the head of state to lead the government.
During his meeting with the new Prime Minister, Kaïs Saïed emphasized the need to strengthen government coordination and overcome all obstacles to meet the expectations of the Tunisian people.
