Sonatrach CEO Highlights Cooperation Prospects With Mozambique’s ENH in Maputo

The Sonatrach Group CEO, Rachid Hachichi, accompanying the Minister of Energy and Renewable Energy, Mourad Adjal, on his working visit to Mozambique, outlined on Wednesday in Maputo the areas and possibilities of cooperation with the Mozambican National Hydrocarbons Company (ENH), according to a statement from the public group.

This presentation took place during a meeting between Adjal and Mozambique’s Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Estevao Pale, during which they discussed the situation of the energy sector in Mozambique and the prospects for cooperation and partnership between the two countries, the communiqué noted. On this occasion, Hachichi delivered a presentation outlining potential areas of cooperation between Sonatrach and ENH, which will be the focus of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) set to be signed between the two companies on Thursday, at a ceremony to be held at the Presidency headquarters of the Republic of Mozambique, according to the same source.
