Sahrawi Army Targets Moroccan Occupation Forces in Guelta Sector

Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) launched concentrated strikes on Sunday against the bases and entrenchments of Moroccan occupation soldiers stationed in the Guelta sector, inflicting losses in lives and equipment, according to a statement from the Sahrawi Ministry of Defense.

The statement detailed that advanced SPLA detachments carried out intense bombardments in the Achrak Al-Sadra area of the Guelta sector during the morning, directly targeting Moroccan military positions. The attacks were described as part of ongoing resistance operations against the occupation forces.

The Sahrawi Ministry of Defense reaffirmed that SPLA operations will continue along the Moroccan defensive wall—referred to as the “Wall of Shame and Humiliation”—with the objective of weakening the occupation’s entrenchments and maintaining pressure on Moroccan forces.
