
In a phone call, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia expressed his congratulations and wishes of prosperity to the re-elected Algerian president and his country. The Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani also extended his congratulations to the re-elected Algerian president, highlighting the strong bilateral relations between Algeria and Mauritania.
Likewise, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, congratulated the Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on assuming a second presidential term, emphasising that the re-election “comes as a culmination of sincere and dedicated efforts over the past five years, which went beyond national interests to address regional and international matters.” In return, President Tebboune thanked the Emir for his “warm and noble” congrats, as well as for Qatar’s role in the Palestinian cause. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to reinforcing cooperation in various fields to meet the aspirations of their nations.
Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received a congratulatory message from the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on his re-election. The Emir expressed his wishes for success and prosperity to President Tebboune, as well as for consolidating further development and growth in relations between Algeria and Kuwait. Similarly, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman extended their congratulations to the Algerian President for winning a second presidential term.
In a congratulatory message, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, as well as Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy President, and Head of the Presidential Court, all congratulated the Algerian President on re-election.
French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his congratulations to the re-elected Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and reiterated the two countries’ “exceptional” relationship in all areas, particularly in security and counter-terrorism. The French President also confirmed his determination to continue the ambitious work outlined in the Algiers Declaration to renew the partnership between Algeria and France.
