Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune stressed on Thursday in Algiers that the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), held last September in Algiers, was “an opportunity for public and private economic operators to prove that the national economy is on the right path.”
Speaking at the opening of a meeting with economic operators at the “Abdelatif Rahal” International Conference Center (CIC), aimed at consolidating the success of the fair’s 4th edition, the president reaffirmed that “a strong state is one that has a strong economy, a strong army, and a conscious and patriotic people.”
On this occasion, Tebboune expressed his gratitude to “all those who mobilized to present an honorable image of our country, which hosted this major event closely followed across Africa and the world for an entire week.” He commended “the efforts of the officials from the foreign trade sector, the constant support of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA), and the professionalism of the security services.” The president also underlined that this success was “the result of the collective mobilization of all sectors, along with foreign partners.”
