Palestinian Community in Italy Launches “Anti-Zionist and Anticolonial Network” for Palestine

The Palestinian community in Italy announced on Wednesday the establishment of the “Anti-Zionist and Anticolonial Network for Palestine.” This initiative aims to strengthen efforts in support of the Palestinian cause and defend the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to freedom, independence, and self-determination.
In a statement reported by the Palestinian news agency Wafa, the community highlighted that the network is the culmination of collaborative efforts among Italian and Palestinian activists over recent months, following extensive meetings and consultations held in Bologna, Italy.
The network encompasses numerous solidarity committees, associations, various political parties, and social, cultural, and labor institutions, along with academic and political figures.
According to the statement, the network’s program emphasizes enhancing and supporting initiatives that provide effective solidarity with Palestine and bolster the resistance of the Palestinian people. This includes expanding the boycott against the Zionist entity and its supporters in various forms while working to intensify the struggle against Zionism and address its infiltration into diverse sectors such as politics, culture, and media.
