Brazilian football star Neymar has hinted at the possibility of joining American club Inter Miami, where Argentine national team captain Lionel Messi has been playing for over a year.
The Seleção’s number 10 spoke about the potential of reuniting with Messi at Inter Miami following their time together at Barcelona and PSG. Brazilian media reported on Tuesday that Neymar publicly expressed his desire to reconnect not only with Messi but also with Uruguayan Luis Suarez, with whom he formed a historic trio at Barcelona.
“Reuniting with them would be fantastic. They are my friends, and we still keep in touch. It would be interesting to revive that trio,” Neymar stated in an interview with CNN.
However, he added, “I am happy at Al Hilal; I am content in Saudi Arabia, but who knows… football is full of surprises.”
Neymar is under contract with Saudi club Al-Hilal until this year. Due to a series of injuries, he has struggled to meet the expectations his club had for him.
