Macron Falls Out of France’s Top 50 Most Popular Politicians

French President Emmanuel Macron has dropped to 51st place in a national popularity barometer, marking the first time since 2003 that a sitting president has failed to appear among the top 50 most popular political figures in France.
According to the poll, 78% of French citizens now hold a negative opinion of Macron, reflecting growing discontent with his leadership amid economic challenges and political unrest.
In a striking comparison, former President Nicolas Sarkozy — despite his criminal conviction — remains in 4th place, underscoring the extent of Macron’s decline in popularity and the enduring influence of France’s political veterans.
