
Iran’s Foreign Ministry confirmed that the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between Russia and Iran covers a wide range of areas, including defense and security, in addition to sectors such as economy, trade, energy, and the environment.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei highlighted the significance of this agreement, noting its broad scope in strengthening bilateral ties. The agreement, which aims to further deepen cooperation between the two countries, is set to be signed on January 17, 2025, in Moscow during a meeting between the presidents of Russia and Iran.
This agreement represents a significant step in solidifying the relationship between the two nations, with defense cooperation now formally incorporated into their strategic partnership.
